The Graves

Far from the lights of the city, deep in a heavy fog, it is almost impossible to see the winding maze of grave stones and the elegant mausoleum standing stoic at its center. The outer walls of the handsome tomb are carved with swirling runes but it is so old the etching is indecipherable.

The Marakira

Mary, Marie, Maria, Mara etc mean "bitter".
Keira/Kira means "dark".

Right in the center of the thickest of mists stands an old and dilapidated lighthouse. Perhaps once the light had shone over the land pushing back the mist creating safe passage to those around. Perhaps it once was used as a beacon of hope. But the past has been forgotten, hope has been abandoned and nothing has been left but cobwebs and dust bunnies.
